Health assessment

 Though the term we were given an assessment. all the topics were different like drugs and alcohol, mental well being, and the mental health. the topic that i chose was marijuana, the reason why I chose marijuana is because I grew up around a lot of cannabis smokers. 

First we had to find 5 questions about the topic. each question that was given by miss was in different colours. my questions that I wanted to find out thew answers was What is weed, why is it illegal, Why is it harmful, what are the negative outcomes, and how does marijuana effect the brain. 

Next we had to give three strategies on how daily stoners could quit smoking.

Then we had to create a way of presenting our topic, and I chose to make a poster for anyone who don't feel comfortable smoking weed. I chose to a poster because it's very easy and it's beautiful. but it also stands out of if someone see's this post and struggling to give up smoking I hope this would help. 

Quick reflection I found it hard but at least I finished it.

 Today we had to explain what a good leader is, we have to ask whats is a good leader, who is a good leader, why are they a good leader. here is my mahi that i did today, ps i'm not posting my video!!

Why is Jacinda a good leader? Cares about the people of Aotearoa, wants to help the people in need, doesn't fake her walks, beautiful smile.

Judith Collins:( Cares about herself insead of the people, also cares about the economy, fakes her walks, her party can’t pick a leader. It just shows no one wants to be in the National

 last term and this term we have been looking at all the dynamics on the movie Coraline. we talk about all the emotions people feel while watching the movie and what type of genre that the creators are trying to pull. :)

Apple crumbles

 in home economics we made some apple crumble it was really nice but we put a little too much water in with the apples but everything else was really good the crumble part off it worked well and tasted really good it had a mixture of oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and flour i think our team worked well and here is some pictures

Music Evaluation

 1. We learned all different types of instruments, piano/keyboards, guitars and ukulele.

2. I enjoy playing the piano just because i'm the man at it and everyone is jealous, it makes my feel happy.

3. Ukulele and guitar because my hands were to big and i couldn't hold it up.

 in home economics we made some vegetarian nachos they weren't the best here are some pictures

 In home economics we made some spaghetti bolognese it tasted really nice it was seasoned pretty nice with the Italian herbs, salt and pepper. on thing I thought it could have used was a little bit of chili flakes anyways here"s some pictures

In home economics we made some mac and cheese it was so good on the top had some panko breadcrumbs which made it really crisp on the top of the macaroni. Also we had to make the sauce for it and it was really creamy and a good texture one thing I think it needed a little bit of parsley

in home economics we made some potato fritata's they were nice but they could have been better because we accidentally stirred the egg when we were meant to let it sit so it pretty much turned to scrambled eggs they tasted good but we needed places to work and improve on thats all here are some pictures

Algebra in science - Paper planes

 
In math this semester we've been learning about geometry and how algebra relates to science. My group and I did speed on paper plane using the velocity formula.

Today we talked a little bit more about heath and safety. we went in the kitchen and sorted out our groups, and while in there miss told us about all the do and dont. Jacob really seemed to love brayden being in his team. we also wrote about our roles and responsibility which means how we could contribute to the task we are order to and how we should represent our car values in our crew and to the teacher.

We had 2 to 3 weeks to preform a piece in front of thew class, the song me and Tukotahi choose was (see you again Charlie puth). the genre we choose was r&b, reason was because it was my favorite genre growing up as a kid. I found out that I was very good at piano, I mean i didn´t know that I could play good at piano.

PE

On Thursday in psychical ed, I played/wasted  everyone in table tennis. Jaxon was my first opponent and obviously I won, next was Nate and he wasn't so skilled as me. Yes I might sound cocky but I'm telling the truth, i'm good at ping pong. As I was winning every single game there was was one more opponent, James. He was pretty good but not good as me, and I ended up winning.  

Then we had to swap so I went to juggle the hake sack. But first I had to juggle the devil sticks and Obviously I wasn't as good at juggling. It was very difficult juggling the hake sacks, but I was good at juggling the cloths. But my favorite activity in PE would be table tennis.

Discussion: my team thought the baking powder would dissolve slower, yes one particle of baking powder is smaller than a particle of salt. But they all stick together in one complex, so we thought it would be harder to dissolve
