My Passion Project

WALT research a subject of our choice.
We started the term being able to choose our own subject to research.
I really enjoyed having the freedom to choose and can't wait for my next one.

Canterbury swim school

Because we are surrounded by water in New Zealand being able to swim is very important.

Facts about Minotaur

Before sunrise

’m a dark shadow. I live in a small town every house was made out of new brown wood. But me and my family live under a old dirty bridge. At night I went to go and find a friend. There is a grey shiny statu. I go there to pray that one day I will have a friend.

But suddenly I see a shiny yellow light coming out a old mans house. I climb up a dirty pipe then I end up at the old man's window. It looked like he was asleep on his own chair I quietly climb on the old man's chair the light was a candle. It was beautiful I slowly walk to the candle. The more I get closer the more hot I get. The candle turned around I was shy.

I was shocked she was beautiful I go and touch here shiny beautiful face. But then my hand went on fire it was sore as drowning underwater. I run away the candle started to cry then I climb up the dirty pipe. The clouds went past the moon like a plane

and the moon was as shiny as a crystal that old man woke up then he blows out the candle I run back to the old man's house. I see that the candle is dead I said to myself ‘’WHAT DID I DO!’’. But then a shadow pops out of the candle it looked like she was asleep. She get up I say ‘’who are you?’’ ‘’I am the light’’ the shadow was happy he finally had a friend.

I am the dark fast panther I train running all night and day. I am the fastest out of all the other runners. I am fast then lighting when it hits the ground. I compete in the animal Olympics but what the animal’s don’t know is that i'm half human.

When the animal's are asleep I sneak out the dark scary rain forest. Then I change into Usain Bolt when I was a kid I forgot my launch. My teacher came up to me with a grin on his face and said.. ‘’If you can beat this kid in a race to that tree you can have my food. I lined up right next to my friend then I said ‘’what are you doing? I said. I’m racing you I was shocked that I was vsing him.  Then my teacher said GO!! I ran as fast as I could I was losing. I turned around and I saw the food but then I ran over the rock and then My foot started to bleed. It was sore as a little splinter.but I did not stop I just took a breath and ran. Then I past my friend I said bye bye he said NO NO NO I WANTED TO BEAT HIM FOR FOOD!!!!!!. My surprised teacher said WOW good job. Here you go said the teacher. My friend said good job.

Now when I change to a human sometimes i’m alone. I have no one to race with but I don’t care

I just train and train running. It bored with out a friend I have to race in two day for the animal Olympics was sad and lonely finally one more day until I race some of the best runner in the world.

I wake up I go to the animal Olympics I line up the monkey said GO!. I was running as fast as I could I past the finish I win gold I am the best at running.

I am the Dream Giver. I get up every night and brush my YUCK, BROWN TEETH!!!. Then I have a shower and wash my long, thick, hairy legs. My house is old, older than the oldest man in the world. I wash my holy shiny wings and set off. The first place I had to go was a dark old Orphanage. I went to open the old, white, door. It made a sound like it was going to break. I walk slower than a sloth.

I gave the kids dream’s then I ended up with one more kid. It looked like he was reading Grim Reaper’s Final Kill. I did not want to wake the boy up. So I left two eggs on his warm, white, bed.  

Then I quietly tiptoed out the old white door but the boy turned his head and broke one of the eggs into Grim Reaper’s Final Kill. I stopped in fear, his dream was now a nightmare. In his nightmare he was in a dark forest. Then he started to walk. The trees were old and covered with webs and little scary bugs. The boy heard a whisper behind him his eye were bulging and he started to cry. But the boy just walked and walked until there was a big rock. It was as big as an elephant,.

There were dead people and dry blood on the rock. There was an old sign that said “you're next”  The boy ran as fast as he could.

Then he stopped and had a rest, but when he went to sit on a rock he heard a loud BANG!!!. He did not move, he was as still as a crocodile trying to eat you. But then the Grim Reaper was behind him. As he just stayed there, the Grim Reaper went to cut his head off with his sharp shiny bald.

But I came and saved the day. The boy had a big grin on his face the I turned  the Grim Reaper into an old mossy statue. The boy said “thanks”  I said  “now go back to sleep”. He started to get tired and started to sleep.

I flew fast as a tiger, then the little boy woke up from his dream I flew straight out that white old door. The boy saw my shadow, his eyes were shocked that he saw me. But he did not care he just READ THAT BOOK!!. Now the boy is going to have another nightmare. I did that whole thing for nothing. I was as angry as raging bull.

          The Switch

Imagine switching bodies with another person here is a story. A guys name Ronaldo was a famous player for football. One time when he was playing in front of 15000,00 people he was running to a kid with a ball.

Ronaldo was running way too fast. He was faster than a dog. As Ronaldo was getting closer to the ball boy. BANG!! He smashed his head into the ball boy.

The whole crowd stopped in fear, 5 seconds later both of them got up. Everyone was around them taking photos. The next morning the ball boy and Ronaldo got out of bed. Ronaldo thought that he was the ball boy. And the ball boy thought that he was Ronaldo. Both of them screamed in fear.

The ball boy who thinks that he is Ronaldo ran down stairs. Mum and Dad were making breakfast. The ball boy said why am I here. The Mum and Dad said good morning. The ball boy said I don’t know you. Then he yelled STRANGER DANGER!!!. Then the ball boy ran out the house scared he thinked to himself who am I and why am I here. So he ran of fast as a tiger. As the ball boy was running he went past a football game.

He asked the boys can I play. The boy said HELL NO!!! Only if you can get a goal. The ball boy was so embarrassed but he did it. The boys were laughing said YOU SUCK!!! But the ball boy proved the boys wrong the ball boy said who sucks now. So then they let him play. He skilled all of them everyone was scared of him.

Now Ronaldo a lady went up to him and said here’s your key NOW LEAVE YOUR LATE FOR TRAINING!!! She cried. Then he got into his pagani zonda and drove fast as a flabby boy. As he got to training all the boys looked at him. Then the coach came out of nowhere  and said RONALDO GO HOME YOU ARE SO BAD!!.

Now the ball boy 10 years later he was vs Ronaldo, Ronaldo looked at the ball boy like I remember you. As the both of them went out the stadium the ball boy kick the ball. ronaldo ran for it then BANG they hit head again 5 seconds later they were back to there own boby. The end

1856 a little boy called Jack he was 6 he  loved going on his bike  with mum and dad one dark night Jack felt something in his bed it was his cat Jack went back to sleep. He had a dream he was in a maze he did not know where he was going so He ran as fast as he can then there was a

very big tower there was a old man he said welcome to tower of terror. Jack screamed he went into the tower there was kid behind a door. jack opened the door the kid wanted to kill Jack so he ran as fast as he can. there was a big slime the slime said want to eat my blood Jack said no the slime tried to eat jack the slime was to slow. jack ran into a spider a very big one jack got stuck in the spider's web the spider was going to eat jack he pushing as hard as he can the spider got his leg so jack had to run with his arms blood started to come out. jack got to the top of the tower there was a ghost the ghost said welcome to ghost beach jack said but there is no beach the ghost said look down jack looked down the tower the maze turned into a beach there were shacks and sea snacks the ghost pushed jack into the beach then jack got killed by the sea snake.

This is not a planet its my home

I am dreaming in my head I wonder what kind of food there is. it feel’s like i'm in a trapped house I look out the window it really does not look like my home that I lived in. it was dark there were a lot of stars my eyes are blurry as I try to wake up. My dad would make me a cake he always puts nuts in it he puts the nuts in it they can’t even fit in the cake. I look around the trapped house for a banana but I couldn't find it. Then I went back to sleep but I couldn't cause i knew that I would miss seeing my dad and I would not be happy. So  I just stay awake when I get to earth my dad would be very old I wonder what he look’s like. The shine sun was out the window then I knew that I was coming home. I have a big smile on my face as I look on the left side I see a picture of my dad 
I have one tear coming out of my eyes. I feel happy i’m going to earth the atmosphere was very hard to go down but Finley I got to earth. I Looked around I
 say to myself what happened when 
I was in space. Then I face planted on the ground and said NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!NO!!!!!! The end.
